    whiining noise

    My wife drives an 03 kj 3.7 auto lately when she start's the car in the morning she hear an whining noise from the front of the transmission but it working fine
    but the nosie seam to disappears when the motor and transmission warm up
    any ideas what it might be.

    The old torqueflights did the same thing when cold, it was caused by cold oil buzzing through the press relief valve, and as you say it disappeared when the oil warmed and lost some viciousity

      So does that mean the valve has to be replace.

        a professional flush and clean dur in a service may dislodge some crap that may be in it causing it to be this way
        try something new.

          No, they just buzz when the oil is cold I have a 47year old torqueflight in my classic Dodge Charger that does it and has been like that for years. Jeeps are trouble enough without looking for more things to fix.
