How did you extend rear bump stops and limit steering in your WJ/G?

    Yes that is correct, the steering stops are metal on metal, no bolt or nut whatsoever.

      Need to get new wheels with a deeper back spacing, or make an adjustable stop i.e. drilling and tapping and bolt and washer to the knuckle, exactly the same as the TJ steering stop works.

        Yeah, the boss for the stops are still there so its just a matter of drilling & tapping.
        Or, you could just not turn quite as tight, ie let up when you hear scrapping.
        I used to be indecisive but now Im not so sure!!!

          Reckon pre-drilling and putting in a Tek screw would do the job for the steering stop?
