so as mine is the 2002 V8, would that mean I need the denso? Am I probably best off taking the car off the road for a day and pulling out the sensor and replacing with the same part #? To be sure?
being married with a new born bubby I'm not after buying 2--4 incorrect sensors if I can be sure the first time hahahaha!!!

You dont need to pull the car off the road it is not a big job access easier from under the car with a spanner providing its not seized. Denso is the OEM part so it is the genuine part 234-4602 replaces 56041345AD. Rockauto has it for $45.
