It wasn't hard at all, no more difficult than any other car, however I didn't bother with a switch, just comes on with the high beam.

Well worth the effort and self-satisfaction of doing it. Getting the switch wires through to the inside is probably the fiddliest bit. The fact that the grommet is on the passenger side and you have to then get the wires behind the console area to the driver's side is a nuisance. I also had to extend the switch wires as the Kings wiring kit I bought with the lightbar was not long enough to reach the switch mounting area on the driver's side.
All I have to do now is take the GC out in the dark to aim the lightbar and lock it before replacing the lower front bar. I have mounted my lightbar behind the lower grill inlet as I didn't want a nudge bar.

Will do OLMATE, I don't see it being a problem as they aren't much lower that the headlights on some cars. Time will tell!

Interesting. Does this mean that you didn’t have to send the wiring into the cabin and just spliced into the high beam trigger wire?

Hi OLMATE, here is a shot of the lightbar in situ, and then on the road. It was just on a local road near home, not out on wide open highway. When you went back to normal high beam, it almost seemed like a weak low beam setup, very happy with the result.

Shot of the lights in situ before I refitted the front apron.
