      Welcome

I like the black on black.

What tyres have they given you on your new beast? They look very road oriented.
      Cheers, Dave :)

I wouldn't be to quick to judge, have you been in a new defender, the puma model, they started in 2007. The interior is much better then the old ones.

The defender is built much better and stronger underneath and for a Offroad car that is where it counts. Chassis are huge the brakes are better, opposed piston where the wrangler has sliding calliper the height from standard is way better the carrying capacity is better.

Land rover are the ones who introduce a lot of tech into the 4x4 cars and the defender was ahead of jeep, cruiser and patrol in regards to suspension and engine tech as well.

Saying all that i am in the market for a wrangler as they are a cool car, I currently have a td5 defender 130 but I want a change.

Both cars have faults but both are the coolest 4x4s around.

I have been inside a new one at the dealership and the interior is very primitive, much more primitive than a JK (even with the old interior). Also even though I'm not a big guy the cabin felt very cramped, only after I rolled down the windows to let my elbow stick out did it start feeling more comfortable.

That's a very common complaint in the defender
