Not with so few kilometres. It's definitely not reasonable to expect them to fail so quickly.

Others have had similar failures repaired under warranty.

The C clip shouldn't just fall out, but its well documented that it happens ( but of course Jeep will haven never heard of it.... yeah right !).
It seemed like a good idea at the time........

Had mine replaced under warranty after the uni failed and destroyed the axle this was at 50,000km, they initially questioned but agreed I was right. This is even with suspension lift and 33's.

It's a little hard to justify as normal wear and tear if only 2000km done so far. I would still ask to see if dealer willing to do anything about it. But as dodgy as they are usually, I really doubt anything will happen. Give it a try.

I am taking it in to try and get warranty just so it is driving again sooner but will be upgrading straight away I can't Risk this happening again when I'm in the middle of nowhere

I think my problem with jeep is going to be the wheels spaces. I have the stock wheels on but I have to run spaces to fit with the DBOR wild kit as the flipped drag link needs more clearance.

You might be up the creek, wheel spacers are illegal.
