thanks for the replies, I went and gave it another test drive, Hopefully am going to order one today if the price is right.

Dealer mentioned that Blackberry Pearl colour is hard to get because of the Japanese earthquake, therefore I am now leaning towards the White Gold. According to the dealer the white gold is not part of the "low-availability" colours.

Anyone know if any other interior colours are available in the Overland? According to the brochure its only the black perforated leather and the Black wood, but I much prefer the look of the "New Saddle"

which one did you order deserthucker?

According to the brochure, its the black perf. leather and the black wood, though some on Carsales are showing different types of brown woods (for the overland model).

        whats up with that?

Yes I asked my dealer. He does not know.
If I am having black leather then I want the black burl.

But looks like we get what jeep sends us.
they tried twicw to change my colour to white this week.

yeah the black leather with the black burl would look really good.

            What did you order (colour/overland?/when?)

is yours far off delivery time?

my dealer said to put two preferences of colour, I'm gonna go for white gold and blackberry, but expecting the white gold. With a nice tint on the front two windows, the white gold would look quite nice I think

I picked up my Laredo at the end of March. I was lucky they had a red one in stock, or rather my missus was lucky as she insisted on the colour and we would have had a long wait otherwise.

Got the tow package and roof racks (I use a fishing kayak every weekend the weather gods allow) but gave the quadra lift a miss as it wasn't in stock and most of the off-road stuff I will be doing will be on the beach at places like Fraser and Double Island Point.

I haven't had a chance to take it off-road as yet. I was hoping to over Easter but a sick young un put paid to that plan. Driving around town and on the highway the car is very smooth compared to my previous Navara and a joy to drive. I've done about 2100km so far and haven't had any issues.

Only photo so far is the one I took when I picked it up.

                Nice one Lazy....beautiful Red there.

                I enquired about a Laredo, Diesel, quadrad-lift, Quadra-Drive
Dealers reply was _ no Q-lifts available til Jan 2012, no Q-drive in Laredo - have to go to Ltd.

So, by the time you add the premiums for these the price advantage over the Tojo's is gone. Just makes the water more cloudy now.

The diesel comes into it's own for towing economy and for 4wd work - if you do either or both then diesel becomes exponentially more economical.

Ordered beginning of march overland Blackberry first option then mineral grey.
ETA was may-June but now late September.

White does look good, but here the red dust gets into every grove and stains.
After a couple of years it looks older than it is.
Had 2 white cars here and with weekly or twice weekly washes cant stop those red stains. wax on the car protects the paint but in the groves and creases cant get there. I spend a lot of time in mine sites, salt water heavy minerals it is a fact of life here.
The last jeep grand is pewter bronze hides the dirt well.
