a few ??s for you

just picked up my ZJthis week and the cv s are
stuffed ,they click on full lock both sides
they were fixed ,but they still click i have spoken to the guy who fixed them and he said to bring it back ,and will do it again .
when i picked it up from the dealer ,the lights
on the little car just above the gear shift had
only two lights on it ,on the back wheels now the
four lights are on ,did this mean the back wheels
were only driving and not the front?,and would
this mean the cv joints had something to do with the light on the little car lights not being on ?
or was that something else ?
thanks .

little lights?
didnt think the CV had anything to do wiht the lights.. im prety sure the Zj has full time 4WD so all 4 wheels should spin all time. unless the transfer case has been swaped...

what did the guys do to the CV's? just wondering...

sory dunno konw enough about ZJ's...

Jeezz tells ya how much I know about ZJ's...I didn't think they had CV's...I thought they simply had unis like most other Jeeps...

As for the lights on your dash - I would have thought that they'd be electrically connected to the transfer case

So anyway I was suspecting the problem was more toward the t/case, they've been stuffing about with it and hadn't re connected the electrical plugs properly......That would have been my guess...

they replaced the shafts? interesting, you can get after market CV for ZJ's, but not sure how much they are, given that, it all depends on what the damage was....

wooders, ZJ do have CV's, but you can upgrade them to UNI's, cant remember whatpart number they are, but its similar to TJ's but wiht ABS sensor rings... (what do they called???)

anyway.. good luck..

EDIT: suburban4WD number
