    Bloody snakes in Thailand

Been having issues finding mouse poo in the back of the Benz. I got some of those glue pads to put in the boot to try and nab them. Didn't want poison as I have a pug that travels in the Benz. First night nothing. Second night, well the photo tells the story. Deadly Thai cobra stuck to the pad. Upside no mouse poo. Maybe it ate them. The glue got all over the carpet from the snake struggling so that will be fun to clean. Snake is not with it maker.

Further research shows it was a Ophiophagus hannah (King Cobra).

Danger level: It has been proven that the bite of King Cobra can kill water buffalo and elephants. A cobra bite is always dangerous due to the amount of venom transferred.

Depends on the type of brown. Around here the eastern browns are not that aggressive. King browns, also known as mulga snakes are the nasty ones. They are from the taipan family, like death adders. They have a much wider head than an eastern brown, much bigger as well. They will chase you if they see you. Lucky there is a family of goannas near here. Any that get a headache are left up on the side of the backroad here & are gone in a few hours. They do a good job of keeping the undesirables under control.
