When and how to disconnect the Swaybar

    I know I'm following the highjack but on a dirt road at say 40km to 100km an hour is 4h ok?

      You won't do much more than 40 in low, so hi is the way to go

        what a waste of time, better off running the disconnect on a separate circuit and then modifying to manual control once the electronics poop themselves (when you drive in mud, it is not a matter of If is a matter of when)

          Ah I see - sounds like the right idea, would be much easier to get the disconnecting swaybar approved if it is 100% factory operation.

          Shame how doing things properly costs so much haha

            Does the swaybar need to be engineered since its a factory option? I guess though the factory option version will not allow it to be disconnected above 40km/hr or in 2wd, so thats an added safety feature.

            Still, I doubt an engineer would be any the wiser that it wasnt a stock bar. If he asks its simply a Jeep option anyways.

              With it not plugged in it defaults to connected anyways, so I guess that means it complies since it cant be disconnected.
