    JK Wrangler on LPG?

What do reckon about an underslung LPG tank on a JK Wrangler? Will it affect the clearance at all?

What were they thinking?? I would rather have the tank taking up most of the limited cargo space than having that thing hanging off the underside of my Jeep! I can't see how it would be safe in a rear-end accident.

It looks like its lower than the mudguards. And they paid $6000 to have it done?

Illegal to put it inside the cabin. Deleting the rear hatch might have given them a few more inches. Probably not an issue for a mall crawler.

Not sure about that. Why would it be illegal?

No different than putting a tank in the back of a wagon surely?

As AusTrac said, a speed bump would trouble it, so I'm not sure how it would even go as a mall crawler!

Lots of falcon station wagons have the tank behind the rear seat in the cabin

That's the last thing you would ever want on a JK.. It doesn't even qualify as a mall crawler!! Speed bumps in shopping centres around my area would kill it.
From that pic, it has a clearance worse than a civic. Can see that clearly from the AD.
I really wonder what that guy was thinking of when putting this on. Why not just add a long range tank instead.. strange.
Always looking for 4 wheels to drive me nutz. :)

Bloody hell. That's more like a ticking time bomb than an LP tank.

Wouldn't go anywhere but the bitumen with that sucker.
