    Jeep KJ Adjustable Rear Pan Hard Bar

    Hi

    Is this correct you can get these for a KJ? (located Gold Coast)

    Suspicious it is. In all my years I have not heard of one for a KJ although the KK rear is different (five link I think). JBA made a ball joint extension bracket that attached to the top of the diff but it was junk and failed on any sort of corrugations. I don't understand what it would attach to.

      what would that do that the boomerang doesn't already do on the rear?

              Well mine was junk after one trip up the Birdsville Track and a trip out to Lake Eyre via Level Post Bay track. The bolts JBA supplied were too long and they torqued up tight against the bottom of the tapped hole in the diff. The bolts appeared and felt tight but the bracket could move and gradually wore away first the powered coating then the bracket started rounding out the hole and wore off the metal surface etc etc.
