Looking for wiring diagram or just a plug pinout for VM 2.5 engine bay 99xj

As title state. ive looked around alot and cant find a pinout diagram for the engine bay plugs. half way through a conversion and just want to strip down to the essential wires Basiccaly hunting for the oil temp/preasure, water temp wiring so i can run a sensor for the dash

I don't recognize any of them. What were they plugged into?
You say you are doing a conversion. From what to what?
Colorado 4X4 has a downloadable manual. The electrical section is very good.
It has pin outs of all the plugs.
I don't know if a copy is on here.
many years ago, a member, MudMonster, put a 4ltr petrol in a converted diesel.
He had built a XJ ute. Good bloke, I don't think he is around anymore.
In doing the buildup he put much of the petrol wiring in a diesel.
The later XJ diesels have 2 temp sensors, the front one is for the gauge, the back one is for the ECU.
There is one on the older XJ diesels.

Colorado is where I got my copy for my diesel XJs.
There is a bit of variation as the ECU changed a couple of times. Pre update, early update & post early 2000 were all different. Does yours have 1 or 2 temp sensors? I have 1 of each. Even the reversing light switch is different. How many pins are on your ECU? That is what will tell you what you have. The last ones have 92 pins, the early ones have less. I think the 1 sensor ones get the signal for the gauge from the ECU.
