Just got back from 4 days around Rainbow, bloody great.
Teewah beach to Double Island is pretty flat and the tide is coming up really high so the closer to low tide the better to travel.
Double Island to Rainbow, well the beach has been really changed with recent storms, it's very flat, tides are close up on the dunes with Middle Rocks and Mudlo Rocks showing, travel outside 1 hr of low tide will mean some salt water paddling, even at low tide (0.4) you will have to paddle around Mudlo, there is not a lot of room on the beach even at low water so watch your clock.
